Late Work: Any assignments turned in late will result in the following
1 day late- 10% off
Each additional day results in 10% being deducted off that grade
2 days= 20%
3 days= 30%

Students who are absent when assignments are due are required to turn it in upon their return
There are a class set of World History books to use in class. You will have access to the online book to use when you are at home to complete assignments when needed. Please let me know if you do not have access to a computer/internet at home.

Course Expectations:
- We will all strive to show one another respect.
- Come to class on time and be prepared to learn. This means bringing your textbook, notebook, and class supplies to class every day.
- No eating or drinking in class
- Follow school policies such as dress code and abiding by the tardy policy.
- Communicate with your teacher and parents about any problems you may be having so that a solution can be found.
- Raising your hand and allowing me to call on you will create an improved learning environment for us all.
- Assignments are due when scheduled and when collected.
- Stay in your seat until dismissed by your teacher.
- CELL PHONE POLICY
- Cell phones are only allowed for instructional purposes. The following penalties will incur if policy not followed..
- - 1st offense- Warning
- 2nd offense- Cell Phone held in storage area for 1 week
- 3rd offense- Cell Phone held in storage area for remainder of semester - Cell phones will be placed in the official cell phone storage facility at the beginning of class each day.
